Jack Benny becomes a spokesperson for the company. March 1972 Robert G. Harper is elected President and Chief Administrative Officer and Watson Powell, Jr. continues as Chairman of the Board and becomes Chief Executive Officer.  March 1976
Robert G. Harper retires and Watson Powell, Jr. continues to lead the company as Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer.
